PGENeS Lab
Program in Genetics and Epidemiology of Neuropsychiatric Symptoms

Program in Genetics and Epidemiology of Neuropsychiatric Symptoms (PGENeS) is composed of researchers and clinicians in the US and Costa Rica.  We are interested in a variety of topics, ranging from the genetic and environmental causes of Tourette Syndrome and obsessive-compulsive disorder to the neuropsychological correlates of compulsive hoarding to the role that  resilience may play in protecting children and adolescents from developing mood and anxiety disorders. We conduct epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, clinical, and genetic studies in these and related areas, in many instances collaborating with investigators and clinicians all over the world.
