Mental Health for High School Families

Mental Health HS flier April 2019The families of all Alachua County high school students, you are invited to a free family workshop on promoting the mental health and wellness of your high school student. Dr. Marcia Morris, UF psychiatry professor and author will share advice about a variety of issues, including how to help students reduce stress, depression and anxiety, reduce the harmful effects of social media and promote open communication.

The event will be held Thursday, April 25 at 6 p.m. at the Eastside High School Media Center. It is sponsored by NAMI, the Alachua County Council of PTAs, Alachua County Public Schools and Eastside High School.
