You are invited to learn more about parenting strategies for children with anxiety at a free workshop sponsored by the Alachua County Council of PTAs and Alachua County Public Schools. Speakers from the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry and Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resource Systems will provide information on identifying anxiety, anxiety management techniques, resources, and programs to inform parents on how to help their anxious children.
The workshop will be held Tuesday, November 12th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dayspring Missionary Baptist Church located at 1945 NE 8th Ave in Gainesville. Children are welcome. Please see the attached flier for details. For more information, contact Sarah Nassoiy at ese@accpta.org.
